AI Job Stats

How is our content made?

Transparency under the EU AI Act (Article 50): what is automated, what is manual, and how we check it.

What is made with AI

The weekly labour market snapshot (Insights), the “What can you do?” section on occupation pages, the Hungarian and German translations of the ILO's English task descriptions, and the translated titles and summaries of foreign news in the newsletter. All of these carry an AI label, below the title or the introduction.

What is NOT made with AI

The numbers, maps, charts and rankings come straight from the official data sources (ILO, Eurostat, ILOSTAT, Cedefop, IMF, WEF), computed without AI. The methodology, FAQ and interface texts are written by hand.

How we check

The AI only receives the verified data points shown on the site, and its instructions say it may not write any other number. The input is stored next to every text, so it is traceable. Texts are produced on subscription AI services (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini — depending on load), orchestrated on our own infrastructure.

If you find a mistake

Write to us via the contact page: we hide the faulty text and regenerate it. AI can make mistakes — if a number doesn't match the chart next to it, the chart is authoritative.
